To the One I Love - CSA

How it started
Is something I can't explain
I just know we were gisting one day
And you said something funny, as usual
I laughed while thinking about how you always make me laugh
And in that moment I realized I was home
Nothing else mattered to me
Other than the fact that I was in love
I didn't question the feeling
How could I?
When this sort of happiness was previously out of reach
It dawned on me that I loved you
Whatever doubts you may have
Whatever experiences you might have had
It doesn't matter anymore
What you can believe is that I love you
And I'm here to stay

Letting Go

As the dawn draws near,

The mist begins to clear from my eyes

The reality of it all becomes visible

Letting go is the only option

It was never mine to begin with

So losing it shouldn’t be a problem

A few hours is all I have, I treasure the moment

Knowing it will be my very last

Forever will it remain a part of me

Another memento to be added to my collection

Crying inside, sad that this is the end of the road

I take a bow, then a step backwards…

And then I run for I don’t want my tears to be seen…
